JOURNEY WITHOUT END

Journey Without End is a futuristic spin on the remix of two ancient tales - The Journey to The West & The Ramayan. Featured below are character concepts & environment art currently in development for an Animated series OTT pitch.

HANUMAN

Considered by many in India to be the true Lord of Creation, Hanuman is the most powerful being in the Ramayan, and also in Journey Without End. He is Wukong's Guru & Father figure, his best friend & most trusted ally. Like Goku from Dragonball or Shazam from DC, he combined phenomenal power with a childlike humor, all the while dispensing ethereal Taoist wisdom to Wukong & his friends, showing them the way to enlightenment.

RAAM

Lord Raam, also called Sri Raamachandra (Graceful Solar Moon) is Hanuman's brother in arms & favorite human. Raam is the protagonist of the Ramayan, a dutiful & boundlessly compassionate monarch of India's Solar Dynasty. He has been revived in the post-nuclear future by the story's villains to do their bidding, but during the course of the story, his inhering wisdom & clarity prevail, making him fight for Truth, Justice & Beauty, as he always has.

SITA

Queen Sita is Raam's eternal consort & counterpart, representing the pinnacle of divine human possibility in women. Unlike Raam, she never died at the end of the previous golden age, but has been alive in secrecy since then for untold thousands of years. Now, with the coming of the new Golden Age, courtesy of Hanuman & Wukong, Sita must  relinquish her solitude in order to lead India out of darkness & into a new Dawn against the forces of ignorance.

GUANYIN

Guanyin is the Leading Lady & the classic mentor in the original Journey To The West. A Bodhisattva (Incarnate Buddhist Angel) whose duty it is to maintain ecological harmony, in her futuristic incarnation, Guanyin is the sole Empress of Kamakii City, a post - nuclear erotic paradise where women have total power, security & freedom & men are their willing & obedient pets. In this retelling, Guanyin sends Wukong, Tripitaka & Moksha on a mission to India not to acquire ancient scriptures, but to learn the ocult techniques needed to heal the soil, water & sky in China, so that life may yet thrive despite mankind's past mistakes.

MOKSHA

Moksha is a Sanskrit word that means freedom from suffering. A new character in this retelling, Moksha is the Water to Wukong's fire, the serene lunar erotic antithesis to Wukong's unstoppable flaming warpath. Beginning as a high-end escort for JAdecorp, Moksha's journey is one of self realization through love & beauty, a path that stands in stark contrast to nearly every other character in the tale. Her love for the monk Tripitaka is the force that pushes her to mastery of Hydromancy, telepathy & eventually, total self mastery.

IRON FAN

Iron Fan is a powerful aeromancer, being able to change the course of entire wind patterns in the sky with her Fan. A leader to a small village in the Flaming Mountains of China, her part in the tale is that of the Wildcard, the unforeseen chaos that is the antidote to the maniacal orderliness of Jadecorp's military.
